Great friendly place with a great menu and homemade pies.
Today was fish fry day. I had the meal and everything was perfect. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient.
Great food. Great service. Prices were average. Seating was tight.
Food was ok but the service was slow. 45 min to get our food.
Excellent breakfast choices and the food is great. Staff is very pleasant and prices are very reasonable
Excellent food, prices and service!
Excellent food great service
Great food! Nice servers! Will visit again.
Holy freaking pecan pie <3
Didnt have roast beef for Rueben, no pork for roast pork sandwich. Refused to serve breakfast at 11:35 full knowing they didn't have the products needed for lunch. My pickle taste like a cucumber dipped in dill juice.
Great food, clean, fair prices, not skimpy on sizes. Desserts are home made and excellent. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
My party and I had the fish fry and it was beautifully done
Prices are a little high but food is good.
Not bad not great. Food is over priced for what you receive.
My sister & I stopped for lunch on our way to a wedding. What a delightful surprise! The food was delicious & fresh. The waitress was very attentive. We each took a slice of pie to go, and were very glad we did! Would definitely stop here again. Don't miss it!
Great home style food at good pricesFriendly service
Nice small town dinner! Perfect for family Friday night dinner!
Not impressed the last 2 times. The waitress had barely anyone to wait on but we sat until she was able to get around to us. My omelette was dry and overcooked and the fried potatoes tasted like last years old oil. We won't be returning.
The good: meh. The waitress was friendly but too busy and overwhelmed. Prices ok. Restaurant is clean. The bad: slow service. Waited 15 minutes to place order. No WiFi service. Waitress did not offer to refill coffee. Food undercooked. If Jackie’s in Milford was opened, I would have gone there instead.
The Tally-Ho has been a staple of our community for years. It is popular with the locals and travelers are treated the same as the neighbors who come here everyday. The food is great and the baked goods should never be skipped.
The locals love this place. That says a lot I think. Great food at very reasonable prices.
Stopped in for lunch on my way to Turning Stone Casino. Good menu. Tasty food. Excellent service and very reasonable prices.
Got the sausage and peppers sandwich with cheese. The sandwich was great. Got water but no ice. This home town dinner is a snap shot of simpler times. With fresh pie and an old man at the counter to complete the feel.
If I could rate this zero stars I would. Nothing was homemade, everything came out of a can. I've had more satisfying meals from slummy gas stations. I've eaten in literally hundreds of diners across the state and this is probably the worst one I have ever been too. Avoid avoid avoid! I felt like I was on an episode of kitchen nightmares. People sending back food, yelling, slow service on a slow day, cold food....try a little harder please.
Tally-Ho is just a great place to grab breakfast or to enjoy lunch. The restaurant is clean and bright with plenty of menu selections to choose from. I don't get to Richfield Spring's often, but I usually have lunch at Tally-Ho when I do. The staff is always friendly, as are the other patrons. It feels like family, "where everybody knows your name", while in all likelihood, nobody knows my name.I just know that I will enjoy future lunches at Tally-Ho, in Richfield Springs, US-20, just east of the iconic clock.
Great Service and good food!
We stopped for a light bite of lunch and had a very nice meal. One young lady was waiting on the whole, busy dining area, and doing a great job of it. Noone had to wait long to place an order or get served. Our cup of mushroom soup was wonderful, with some potato and carrot added to nice largish pieces of muchroom. They split a chicken salad sandwich onto two plates for us, each with yummy cole slaw. Everything in the sandwich was super fresh. I highly recommend this place!
Richfield Springs staple for sure. Can't pass through without some breakfast or lunch. Also the Coconut cream pie👌👌👌
Did not realize place closes at 2pm. on a Saturday. Waitress asked if we needed a little time to look over the menu then dartred away before i even finished answering. We'd stopped by at 1:30 and, while eating, noticed a customer come in asking if they were closed. They were. Felt rushed entire time. My elderly mom does not eat fast and I felt like we were holding them up. Never offered desert. Food was just fair.
Food was good for a breakfast, but only average.Service was almost non existent. Clean diner. Waitress needs to communicate with patrons more. My order was off and after bringing it to her attention she walked away and returned 8 mins later with my order no apology or update as to what was going on with the order.
Great hometown place...good food and great friendly service....we stop in every day!!!
Comfortable atmosphere, laid back farm country setting - good for families, and a farm family owns it!
Friday night fish fry was haddock and it was great. Solid cup of Manhattan clam chowder. Excellent fries. Not fancy, just solid, straight forward fare. Service was a bit slow.
Food was good, waite staff could use a bit more training. They dont come back to check on you to see if everything was good or to see if you need something more to drink. But the food was good.
Great comfort food and amazingly good homemade pies!Service was fine. We’ll certainly return.
Great people, great food. Worth the 2.5 hour drive. The best Pecan pie you will EVER eat.
Food was good and price was great. Large portions friendly service.
Overpriced food that's not good ..service is awful
Friendly and cozy due to the licals who visit regularly! Good food. Really enjoyed our waitress, young and wonderfully efficient😊 Do stop in!
Good food and friendly staff. Reasonable prices that make you want to come back.
Go here for breakfast on occasion food is always good and the service is great
Clean, friendly, tasty, and simple.
Good food for the price! We had an excellent waitress! Had a burger and fries. Fries were very crispy and even though the burger was a frozen patty it tasted good.
Great Mom and Pop restaurant in a quaint lite town..good breakfast!
We've only always had breakfast and lunch here but it's consistently good. If you eat here, you definitely need to check out the homemade pies and desserts.
Attended a function. Tally Ho staff did not have enough tables set up to accommodate the group. Part of the group was separated into the main dining area which was quite awkward. Food was marginal.
It has the best hot beef , hot turkey sandwich plate in the world.
Great food. Cozy atmosphere
Best French toast ever!! The service is always fantastic and the food is always delicious.
Worked here at age 14 in 1958 1960 WITH owners Tabors I lived with them after living home. They were more of a family to me than my own family. I visited TallyHo in 2017 and the food was as good as it was 60 years ago. Richfieldsprings had not changed very much since I left. Hope to revisit again in near future.
